If you qualify, USAA is very good. Whenever I get sales calls from other insurance companies and they ask who I currently have insurance with, I respond "USAA", and they respond by saying "thank you for your time", and end the call. The only downside (consistently) is they always try to upsell you. Also, my wife was in a little fender bender a few years ago - sideswiped by a lady who also had USAA insurance. The USAA agent would not do her job and I had to get her supervisor involved. I think he probably lost 10 lbs. after I got off of the phone with him, but we got our claim settled by the end of the business day.
Regards,
Dave

If you are a veteran or a family member of a veteran look at USAA.
I didnt have any family members close enough for USAA and they referred me to Liberty Mutual, their sister company.
So far have been happy with LM and it was cheaper for me to have full coverage on my 08 F150 as well as my wifes new car than it was for liability on my truck and full on my wifes car from State Farm...
That Jake and his khakis are full of crap!
