Dual exhausts on 2014 F150 question.

Anyone done this on a 2014 F150 Super Crew 4x4 and was it worth it and did it do anything to mileage or performance or just the sound and what system did you have done? Thanks

I have put flowmasters in one truck and will never do it again. Didn’t really help with performance as the sound gets old after awhile.

I currently have a magnaflow on my 5.0 with the resonator in place and it is OK.
Good sound at start up and nice sound when you step on the accelerator but otherwise very quiet. Just a little louder than stock.
It does drone some at highway speeds but it’s not bad. I can still listen to pod casts over the Blue tooth. It may get old though.

I started with the Magnaflow and no resonator and it sounded awesome around town but droned so bad on the highway that I would get a headache so the resonator got reinstalled.

If you go the flowmaster route I would call up flowmaster and ask them which model exactly you should use to avoid loss of gas mileage. Putting just any flowmaster on the Ford could cause you to lose mileage because they are a different design and not flow through like stock mufflers. That’s the un-verified word on the street. They may also drone like magnaflow, but flowmasters sound great around town. Do your research

If I had a do over, I would get a Corsa or Borla and install myself. They just bolt on. Much more expensive, but Corsa guarantees no drone on the highway and they sound great. I’ve realized that you get what you pay for in the muffler game

Mine actually sounds fine, I was just wondering about any performance gains.
