    Atv pcv?

Been working on a '99 Kawasaki Bayou 220A and it runs really good. No smoke and has good compression but...

It has enough pressure in the crankcase to push oil out past the grommet where the neutral safety switch wires pass through the case.

    1) Oil lever is normal

    2) It doesn't appear to have any provision for a PCV valve.

    3) I don't suspect massive blow-by or it wouldn't run good and have compression and not smoke.

    4) I could always JB Weld around the wires but that may be only masking a problem.

    Any thoughts?

I would try replacing the rubber grommet. I bet it’s just dry and worn, allowing oil by. Maybe a new one will solve the problem.

Maybe but I don’t think it should have that much pressure in the case.

Mystery solved. Freakin mud dauber clogged up the vent line. Shot of shop air and problem solved.
