I got into a pretty heated debate with a lady at the border over a “piece” of meat on the skull... i pulled it off an threw it in the cooler with the rest of the meat and she looked dumbfounded lol

I had left just about all the meat on his skull. I gave poor instructions to our young Cowboy I just assumed it was a tick issue and had nothing to do with meat.I crossed most all my stuff at Falcon back in the day. Its not really the agents fault at the bridge, they've been told to do whatever they're doing. I eventually let them know how I felt and why, but I was in the wrong looking back.

Nice Deer Dean, A Brute for sure! Just got back from opening week on the ranch. Good to be back, had a freeze(wich we needed badly) Had three great days out of five, saw a few mature deer, and yes they are getting close, may come early this year. Had a mature buck fight everything that came into the feeder i was hunting, once they where so close they broke the ground blind front tie i was sitting in. Pretty intense, thought i was gonna have to bolt. it always takes me a while to age and judge these awesome animals, cause i spend most of the year looking at hill country bucks. the 3 yr. olds look 5, the 5 year old look 7 and the mature ones are the reason why i can only say VIVA LA MEXICO!Safe Travels to all!
