    Need Honest Opinion On Scope

Looking at a Mueller 4x16x50 was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Mueller scopes. Going on my Browning 270, any experience help would be great.

I just put a BSA 4x16 on mine and I really like it so far. We'll see if it holds up. I don't know anything about the Mueller, sorry.

Thanks coach I was hoping someone had already tried before. I hate to spend the money and find out it was junk. The reviews on the net sound good, but was hoping that a family member might have tried it.

There are a few that have put on the Mueller scopes on their .17 HMR's.

I know that Chew has one for sure. I am trying to figure out a way to trade something off and get one for mine.

Me personally, 4-16 power on a 270...I think you are over-scoping the gun

I have 4x12x40 on it now would like to feel a bit more confident out about 300-350. Kind of like bow hunting,I like a challenge and would rather take 300 then 30 yds

i had a mueller apv 4.5-14x40 ao on my .17hmr for a while...for the price, couldnt complain...of course the clarity doesnt compare to a leupold, burris, or anything along those lines, but definately a good scope...only reason i sold mine was because i downgraded power...

I agree you usually get what ya pay for, but I have been using a $69.00 Bushnell my brother bought for me. I actually have been pleased with it. Leopardog can contest to the fact that it is almost as clear as his Leupold. Brings in more last light then his. So I thought the Mueller might be worth trying.

I've got 2 of them. One on my .204 Ruger and another on my .257 Weatherby Mag. For the price they are excellent. No complaints here. Buddy of mine just put one on his .308 Tactical Rifle and loved it.

The last 3 scopes I have bought have been the mueller sport dot 3x10x42 Illuminated Dot Reticle. I love them. Most of my hunting is at night and that little red dot is GREAT.

Jeff I appreciate the input helps in my decision. I am not going to ask why most of your hunting is at night.
