The deer density here 3 acres would never survive.

I am looking into what I am going to plant. I can get lablab at $51 per 20# and I/C peas at $35 per 50lbs. May do a mixture and grain drill into my current plot

I have read really good things about the Eagle brand soybeans. I going to try a few small plots of them this year.

After more research, it looks like Sunn Hemp would help my I/C peas and lablab establish and ladder up on it's stalks.

So I may mix some Sunn Hemp into my plot

Its the combo I'm using [ minus the lab lab ]. Actually 9 lbs/ acre sunn hemp,5.5 lbs buckwheat,16 lbs cow peas, 5.5 lbs soybeans, and 2 lbs sunflower. All good deer food. All good for the soil. All compatible. If you add the mixes up it equals 100% if I just planted the full amount of a singular cultivar.
