I agree. I met him at a book signing that I had to wait in line for 90 mins for and he acted like he was doing me a favor (it was his book).

I ran into him again at an NRA convention and he acted all high and mighty.

I don't like him, like I don't like Trump, but I'll support him because he is better for my rights than the opposition.

I have never been a fan of that guy ....BUT... i watched the entire speech and it was fantastic. I mean fantastic. based in hard fact. called the liberals out by name on their socialistic agenda too. 9.9 on a scale of 1-10

What really stinks is living in a world where leaders are bought and sold. On both sides of the isle.

Also dont like the fact how easy and willing they are to sell us down the river under his helm. No compromises and don’t give an inch period. And it is more than just hos salary I dont agree with. Several things I dont like about the dude

Truly a brilliant speech. No organization has provided more support for our Second Amendment than the NRA since the Founders that wrote it. There are some flashbacks that make it worth watching even for the LaPierre detractors.

Apples and Oranges. The hatred for Wayne, would be 100 times greater than what Trump faced. Most didn't expect Trump to win so he wasn't fiercely attacked until after he won. LaPierre would be crucified in the media the second after he announced.

Interesting comment, I never thought of the NRA as a "charity", an "organized interest group", yes a "Lobbyist Group", but never a "charity".

After reading responses on this thread I'm 100% convinced he would never be President
