Prayers needed for Texas Tornado

Well crap she is starting to fight them again. Her stubborn *** needs to listen to them.

Some people have given Brandon a slight hard time. I understand the frustration with the doctors - but this quality of fighting is what keeps us alive many times. I think Brandon might be a bit of a hard headed cowboy - but that really is a pretty good thing to be in my book.

I remember this battle hardened Platoon Sargent I had in the Army - he said you fight and fight, and fight some more. Fight until you don't have a breath left in your body. Then you take another breath and keep fighting. You fight until you can't see. Then you keep swinging even if you can't see - hit hard and hit fast. If you ever think about giving up you will loose. If you only think about fighting and keep fighting - you have a dang good chance of making it through.

Pretty good philosophy that can be applied to many things in life.

Morning update...she had another good night. They are going to try to get her up out of bed today and see if cant take a few steps

That is just awesome!
Still praying for a full recovery.
Are her children going to get to see her today as well?

Not sure why this just came to mind but would it be possible for Jenn to put together a diary of this from start to finish?

Might be good for Courtney to be able to reflect back on how far she’s come and how much she’s overcome so far anytime things get tough, she would have a reminder of just how strong she is.

That is awesome news. She'll have some struggled and easily fatigue after that long in the bed. Baby steps. It's nothing compared to what she just went thru.
