Olympic snow

Looking at the mountains in the background of the ski and snowboard competitions they look very barren with snow, are they running mostly on man made snow?

I noticed that, but I think a lot of that appearance has to do with there not being evergreens, like most mountain areas.

You are correct. They were talking about it. Lots of cold this year and little snow
