Small bungee cord around the unit. Its not fullproof but it keeps the wire tucked up under the camera and not dangling to be grabbed. Had some issues with my TC camera and did the same. With our coons pops I haven't had any issues since. I did the same with my Covert.

And trap the hell out of them..

I started with a zip tie. Now I have a piece of bailing wire fairly tight around the cord. I haven't had any problems.

Maybe attach the camera to a round slick pole with u bolts and attach a slinky to the bottom???

2 inch pvc elbow coming out of battery box with Camera lock box sitting on top of elbow. 2inch gives you some “wiggle room” with wire when inserting cam into the box
