Heading out this morning for Venice, so far the forecast is showing a good weather window for tomorrow with light winds and seas. We shall see if they are right for a change.

Hopefully, have some tuna pics tomorrow evening.

Man that is a trip I would love to do sometime!

I have been thinking I would like to do a big trip for each of my boys at 8th grade and high school graduation and this trip is at the top of the list.

As said above I have never heard anyone who has fished out of Venice say they weren’t anxious to go back. Looking forward to updates and hunting with you next weekend.

Very cool. The pictures brought back memories of how strong those fish are and how loud their tails are when they are slapping the deck.

Gotta get in on another trip.

                  Thanks Jason,

We caught 7 Yellowfins and 10 Blackfins, 6 of the Yellowfins were over 100#s with the biggest a 160# fish. The Blackfins were in the 20-25# range. Seas were flat and the tuna bite was on, using Bonito chunks.

We're heading to Venice in about another month. Can't wait.

It is good better chance of calmer seas, usually go out further for fish, fish generally run smaller than the winter time.
