Note to self . Always watch the kid with the ball.

Justin and I were playing catch and I look away and he fired one off . It hit the top of the glove and BAM!!

I was catching my kid two years ago in bullpen. Fastball caught front of plate. Hit bottom of chin. Cracked two molars. Out of pocket was almost $2k. Worth every penny to have the experience of playing ball with my kid

Thanks, but it's not that bad yet .
Tomorrow isn't going to be fun wearing safety glasses all day.

Wait till that line drive off that bat drills ya. Took one to the ear hole. Mamas' helping me to the house, blood coming from the ear and the boy says "we're not through with batting practice, are we?" Yeah son we're through.

A while back,I was throwing batting practice to a group of 14 year olds when one hit a line drive just off my shin bone on my planted foot . I really thought it broke my leg. Fortunately in wasn't....but it hurt for over a month. No more pitching for this old man...

If I’m pitching to anybody and I’m not behind a screen, I’m bringin’ the heat son!

My dad was coaching a summer baseball team and throwing BP in the cage. Riding my *** hard too. ****** me off to the point I swung as hard as I could. Line drive deflects of his hand or glove and hits him right above the left eye. Lots of blood, cuss words and immediate trip to ER. All he says directly to me “you better hit the dam ball like that in the game”

                            Sierracharlie out…

Lol. I was 17 and my little brother was 10 and I was pitching him BP with my dad catching. Dad says pitch him a “heater”! I threw a fastball as hard as I could and hit him in the side of the head without a helmet. I have not idea how that ball got away but I thought I killed him.
