Need advice on removing rocks

Had a guy come in and top dress our field the other day, dirt has tons of rocks and glass. Some of it is big rock and some smaller but all has to be removed. Looking for advice on how to get it off. Someone suggested a Billygoat vacuum but I have no experience with them and I am a little concerned that I would not be able to lower it low enough to pick everything up. Also looked at a walk behind street sweeper type machine but can't find anyone that rents them out. Any experience or suggestions?

Interesting. I tried to clean a food plot area by hand once. At first I was picking up bigger rocks, then smaller, etc. at the end of a couple hours it still looked rocky.

Aren’t there rock rakes of some kind?

This is why you have kids. Like kids, you will never get rid of them.

Might try a skid steer with a rock bucket.

Sports field

Rockhound or a harley rake for skid steer. Should be able to rent one or the other in your area. Rockhound is easier as it picks up the rocks. The harley rake will put them in wind rows to come back and scoop up with bucket.

We played on a field like that. The coaches would like up the players and walk the infield dirt at least twice before each game.We picked up a can full of glass each time we did it. The field was finally determined to be a hazardous waste site and closed to the public.
