Driving with cast on right foot?

Anybody had to drive with cast on right foot?

It’s an all or nothing deal. Punch it and let whatever happen that is gonna happen. Even if you crash you’ll still get there quicker than if you hobbled your gimpy *** down the sidewalk.

I did it for 2 months. Just pull your right foot back all the way and use your left foot.

I am currently driving with a big compression boot or right foot. I get around a lot better than I expected. I do use my left foot for brake though.

I have done this a few times, the last for close to 4 months with a broken right foot.

Been there done that.......I have been on crutches six times.....athletic terror....only once with a cast. At first it was tricky driving but I got used to it for two months.

I have done it with a walking boot. Standard transmission so I needed the left foot for the clutch.

You can do it in a walking boot. I did for a while.... And it was a stick... And my right arm was in a cast. Amazing what you can do when you have to.

I broke my right leg in college and had a cast on for 5 months, starting with a full leg cast from my upper thigh to covering my foot. Gradually it was shortened over tme, but I drove my 59 Chevy Impala with my left foot and my right casted foot over the center hump.

Did it in my 97 Ford PS 5 speed for a few months when I was 18. Little tricky at first then no problem once I got the hang.
