    Warthogs at Chaparral WMA

So my son got drawn for a Javelina hunt at Chaparral. Do they actually have a thriving and breeding population? If so do they at certain parts of Chaparral? Anyone got picks?

I do believe there is a shoot on sight bounty for them.

The African pigs are mostly isolated to the western part of the Chap. There aren't many of them however. I got drawn for a doe hunt a couple weeks ago, and they said that only one group MAY have been seen throughout the entire year. That's a lot of eye's out and not much sightings. A couple years ago, they saw more and like three were actually killed. So they may have just gotten smart.

I had pics somewhere of the two killed while we were there, I'll keep digging and see if I can find them.
They will tell you more when you get there than I suspect anyone here can tell you.
