Foreverlast Road Feeder wtih Spintech / Eliminator spinner

Just picked up one of the Foreverlast 50lb road feeders from academy for 50 bucks but don't care much for the shut-off gate that you have to manually open and close.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to fit a spintech or eliminator spinner plate on one of these feeders?

I also came across this spring loaded spinner from spintech that I've never seen before... anyone have any experience with this one on any type of feeder? I think it usually comes on their gamemaster hanging bag feeder.

Upgrade with SpinTech’s patented wildlife feeders and multi purpose spreaders for hunters, land managers, and outdoor pros. Built for precision, durability, and zero waste, our rugged gear ensures efficient feeding and spreading for whitetail, land management, and winter prep.

I put a spintec on mine but had to make an extention for the motor and you can't cut off the corn flow anymore.

I have a spin tech lower unit with spring plate on my regular feeder and it is fantastic. Coons can’t get in and I don’t lose any corn. Been running for a year and a half zero issues.

I had a spintech on mine and it was nice. The spinner you have pictured above still leaks corn on you drive around the lease. especially if your roads aren't dead smooth. Personally I like the hopper gate that closes the corn off after battling with dribbling corn for years back in the day. Sure it is better if it was electronic but getting in and out ain't once at your blind.

I hear ya. It's not THAT much of a pain. Just trying to figure a way around it. Plus I have two spintech spinner plates in the box already.

I put an eliminator on mine and within two weeks had to replace the motor. Works like a charm now.

I've had one of these on my road feeder for about 10-12yrs now (all seasons road feeder), never had any issues with it.

Are y'all running the foreverlast feeder with the 12v motor?
