I've got one. Used it predator hunting once or twice and pistol hunting during deer season once. They are warm and snag on stuff like people have mentioned. I didn't see anything though.

I’ve got a “leafy suit” and love it. I’ve worn it on every bow hunt I’ve been on the last 4 years.

I've had a few of them, and used them several years ago. Now I just use a leafy suit. The big bulky burlap one was great for camouflage, and disappearing. It's just really not necessary equipment to hunt with. Also I used mine in East Texas and the dang mosquitoes still found a way to bite me. I did have some really cool close encounters with deer while sitting against a tree right in front of hand corn. I had some walk right up to me. Had a doe breathe on me trying to figure out what i was

I still have it somewhere. Like I said it's not something I need. The leafy suit works just fine and is way more comfortable

I have a ghillie that has never been removed from the bag. Heck, I have a blanket too come to think of it.

I feel like mine works. Pants are a PIA and legs aren't usually very visible or moving. Really neat having a deer look right through you, or it feels like it anyway. Fan of the top and hood. I have multiple hoods for different seasons to cover/breakup the head / shoulder outline.

When my nephew got home from his 2nd tour in Iraq, he suggested we make a ghillie for me instead of buying one. I was delighted! Well, in a couple of days he comes over with two great big burlap bags and says all we have to do is "disassemble" them...LOL. Long story short, they went on sale at Gander Mountain before we finished and I wound up buying one. We're still working on the homemade one though!
Mine is great for concealment, but as said already....they're crap for walking through brush and stuff. I pretty much wear my leafy suit most of the time.
