Its hard to beat sitting at the base of a big tree with a trusty old .22 in your lap. I would guess that for a lot of us it brings back memories of those first times we were allowed to hunt alone. I'm sad to say I have not done it in years. Y'all have fun!

I haven't squirrel hunted in years either, jerp...but that's gonna change next weekend we bought the boys their first shotguns for Christmas, .20 gauges, and I'll be toting the .22 and we're gonna hit up the Sam out of New Waverly. I'm looking forward to it
