Yeah...I'd say a yote or easy pickin meal critter like a hog.
Now, set up a #2 or a 550 around the conibear or even put a trail cam there. Whatever did that will be back. In for part 2

How long was it dead in the trap before you came back to check it. With the conibear trap it was just a pile of food waiting to be eaten.
