Sonora TX 2018-2019

It was bad in town! A few of the old timers here have said they have never seen the draws with that much water in them. Lots of flooded houses and businesses. Prayers up for everyone who is dealing with the bad parts of this.

There is more rain forecast for mid week! We can’t handle any more. The ground is totally saturated, and just about every drop goes into the draws, which means more flooding!!!!!

We need a bit of a drying out!!!!!

No doubt the pics I’ve seen do no justice. Have seen a few videos as well that are gut wrenching after what we went through here in SE Texas with Harvey last year. Praying for all those impacted by this. Agree on the drying out.

We had over 3’ in our house during Harvey I know what they’re going through. Prayers for all that are affected.

This rain event was quite unique. I’m 30 miles south of town and our lease got .2” while you guys further north around town got anywhere from 7-13”. In fact my dad was at our place yesterday and said it was mainly dry except for a few low spots that still had some moisture. Crazy weather...
