Venice Tuna and Bowfishing

I’ve seen a few threads in the past and always thought that combo would make a great trip. We hit the blue water tomorrow and bowfishing is Saturday night. Weather looks like it is going to cooperate.


Had to make a stop there!


That’s what we’re looking for.

Who are y’all going with? We did the exact trip in September for a buddies bachelor party and we had an absolute blast. We bowfished Thursday with Captain Allan Yedor and took Friday off and hung around and drank at the places we rented and cooked out. Saturday we went out with Fish Venice Charters. We had 3 boats. I was fishing with Captain Michael Pittman and we caught yellowfin from 55-100 pounds til we literally physically couldn’t catch anymore. Since then I’ve had 4 other buddies who were planning bachelor parties who saw what we did and are setting up the same trip. I will be back sooner than later.

We looked at MGFC but they only had one (new) guy open for our dates. Seen and heard nothing but good things about Eddie Burger and Michael Pittman with Fish Venice Charters. I don’t think you could go wrong with either company, but we’re fishing with Michael. Saturday night is with Alan Yedor - Southern Style Bowfishing.
