There are a lot of trees that aren't worth climbing. I'd rather spend more time hunting deer than hunting a tree.

I know you didn't ask me, but thats how I feel about it

Oh I gotcha. I have a climber and like it, I just like the option to pick imperfect trees.

Well, I know the hassel of hanging Lock ons, the reason I asked. I hunted public for years using climbers, the tree doesn't need to be perfectly straight to climb.

Is there a pace to try multiple stands like shooting multiple bows ?

Have y'all toted a Woodsy in and out of public lands much? That seems like the last stand I'd want for public. Maybe I'm missing something.

I don't hunt public land, But either way if I'm gonna be doing an all day sit it's going to be in a stand I know I'm comfortable in. I've never sat in a milimium stand that a lot of people like so for me the woodsey is my most comfortable stand..

Which stand? I thought most millenniums had adjustable seats and platforms.

                          ^^^^ This.
Experienced this many a time. Each tree I was in would not have been accessible with a climber, unless you climbed up with sticks and attached the climber just like you would with a lock on and sticks...at that point, what's the purpose, comfort? Not many straight pine trees and straight live oaks in NTEX.

Must be hunting the dust line to be hauling a 35# stand on public lands.
