Sending out prayers

Anyone who knows me knows I don't ask for anything. And I am not the most religious person. But this morning on my way to the office I heard a sad story on the radio. Some may have seen this on the news as well. 9 people I believe it was went down in a helicopter crash in Amelia, La over the weekend. 7 dead at the scene, one in critical condition and not expected to make it, and one yet to be found.

Although I personally (That I know of) do not know any of these folks, I am connected to they quite the same way I am with everyone here. They are my oil field brothers and sisters.

I did see it on the world news... I too have spent a few hours in a PHI helicoptor... Prayers for all family and friends involved..

I to know how you feel i also worked in the oilfield for over 2 years in utah.flew out every two weeks.prayers sent to them all.

It is amazing that PHI is still in operation considering they have the worst track record in the gulf.

anyone that has fished out of Grand Isle or Fourchon , or had to go offshore out of these areas has passed right by Amelia, LA.

Amelia is between Morgan City and Houma just off Hwy 90
