Houston Safari Club Show Worth Going?

How does the Houston show compare to the DSC. Thinking about driving down for this one on Sunday morning with some friends.

I've never been to Houston but my fiance has and says it does not hold a candle to DSC. SCI > DSC > HSC

Went once several years ago to visit with an outfitter we'd hunted with... never saw the need to return in subsequent years...

HSC is a lot smaller than DSC or SCI.

I made a list of the exhibitors at HSC that I might consider hunting with in the future and came up with 3. I will go and talk to the 3 exhibitors if I am not busy that weekend.

SCI is the granddaddy, DSC is the Mature 10 point, and HSC is a 3 year old 8 point.

Where I'm from a lot of folks shoot a 3 year old 8 point! lol better than a 4 point

All - The HSC Convention has actually moved from The Woodlands to the GRB Convention Center in downtown Houston this year. And, they doubled in size with almost 300 exhibitors. Hunting Expo Fri., Sat. Sun. with banquets and live auctions at night featuring The Bellamy Brothers and Roger Creager. Thursday night sneak preview also. May be time for another look. Tickets at the door or online at houstonsafariclub.org.
