    concrete removal guys-question

I have a 10' x 2' x2' concrete block I need removed from my front yard. I dug around it with my tractor and I can move it some back and forth but that's it. Will one of the rental electric jack hammers do anything to this block of concrete? Can I break it in half ? Or do I start on edge and break it piece by piece.
Any other ideas? I have used a jack hammer so there will be a learning curve,
    Thx

You may try just drilling a bunch of holes in a line with a rotor hammer drill and driving in wedges in the holes until it breaks. I did that with a large chunk one time and it wasn't too tough.

electric jack hammer will work great for what you are doing. can make any size pieces you want.

This x2. Rent a 115 volt Bosch Brute for half a day and bust that concrete into pieces. Most rental places will have them. You can pick-up and return that thing up in a compact car.

It will be kinda dusty, so wrap it up in a drop cloth if your wife's car is clean inside.
