I wasn't going to breed Athena but after her first year hunting it was apparent she was special.

Wild quail have no chance when she is in the field. A honest to god all around gun dog. Incredible pray drive with the endurance to hunt a full three day weekend. It doesn't matter if its dove,duck or wild hogs she will track them and fetch them up. Crazy natural hunting instinct.

She was given to me from the widow of Harlen Winters. Winters kennels has been breeding GSP for over 40 years.

Gus is a real nice dog. Pups should be some good bird dogs.

Last hunt this weekend. 4 coveys 8 birds all solid points. She even came back with a live bird I guess we winged a day earlier. Epic point then the bird started running. She took off and came back with the bird alive.

I am always interested in trades. Wood gun or stainless pistols. Overunders and ranch stuff always come in handy.

Yes, I am down to 4 males. One of the male looks like he will stay white and brown the others will have the same markings as the mother.

Mother pointed 5 coveys this weekend. Awesome job for 10 days after birth.

I can't say what a eye opener it has been for me to have this dog in my life. I have been hunting this land for fifteen years and never thought we had such a good quail population.

A good well breed pointing dog will open up more hunting opportunity than you can imagine.

Hopefully these pups will pass on a new passion to their owners.
