I set up for a traditional bow so I'm at 15 yards.

Mine is 50yds away, but I hand corn midway between the pop up and feeder. I have a tree stand that is under 20yds from the feeder. been hunting the popup mostly since November, and the deer will look up at my stand in the tree. I've never been busted in my tree, and haven't been in it for 2 months! Guess there's a lot more guys hunting from trees than popups around my area.

Im a 20 yard person myself. I dont mind a little further off though and corn closer so you have a wider view around the feeder.

I have a big permimant ground blind. Front side of feeder is 19 yards. Blind is just sitting under oak tree.

Very interested here. So you have 4 setups on the same pen for the 4 different winds. Is that correct?

When I get in close I do it in brush blinds set up about 10-30 yards from the feeder. That being said, I see better deer when I set up on approaches to the feeder and hand corn those spots, but still about 10-30 yards.

Gotta rely on your comfort zone for a clean shot. You had deer all over you it sounds like you were in a good zone and covered well. Mine stand at 20y.
