I hunt with the Eva Shockey bowtech because Eva Shockey does. You could say things are getting serious between us.

In general, customers want either what their brand loyalty has them stuck on, what their buddy has suggested or what we(employees) recommend. Having employees shoot xyz bow is a great way to drive sales in a shop. I just don’t see the sales being driven by these tv guys.

I think your spot on but if you see the majority of tv shows and talents shooting a specific brand, then you see their advertising everywhere. And on top of that, you read magazine reviews about that same brand, the overall marketing strategies result in the consumer buying a new (Mathews) bow.

I shot Elite for years and the overall hype got me to try a new brand to me.

Back to the OP though and there’s no telling but I don’t think they had any teal sales push from advertising over recent years. I think they will continue to be a contender in the middle market area.

I agree. I think they just get a lot of free stuff and $$$$. Since y’all brought it up. I need a new bow. Time to retire the old Bowtech Liberty! Mathews, Bowtech, Hoyt, PSE?

I like to see them when they're shooting what i shoot. Let's me know I'm the defective one and my bow is capable of great things!

While I'd agree not many people buy a certain brand because some guy on tv shoots it, the marketing those guys provide obviously helps or the bow companies wouldn't spend the money on them, no?
