    I hate poison ivy

Two weeks ago I managed to get into poison ivy and it all over my leg. I just washed with zanfel, if it don’t stop itching by tomorrow I’m gonna go get a shot and a steroid pack. What do y’all do to treat this devil they call poison ivy.?

Are you using the Zanfel more than once a day? It works like a champ when I get the stuff.

Bleach and a Brillo pad. It hurts at first but it drys it out pretty quick.

I have in the past. I was trying to be cheap and using benydryl cream. I should of just spent the 45 bucks last week.

if you want to go the cheap painful route bleach will work. hurts but cheap. I put on Tec-nu if even the thought of cutting or looking at the stuff.

Get a bar of soap like zest or dove and rub it on there and let it dry. Drys it out. Otherwise use calamine for the itching, or go to the dr and get the prescription cream, it knocks it out quick

I go for the shot and the steroid pack immediatley.

Rinsing with hot water. I mean really hot water helps me. But that only treats the symptoms and is not the cure.

Funny and true story on how I came across Zanfel. I was cutting pecan wood and some trees had some under growth. I guess I wasnt paying attention too well because I had covered up really well and wasnt to concerned about getting it on my skin. Anyway I guess pulling out my ****** to pee a few times it somehow got poison ivy on it! I went to the pharmacist at HEB in Sugar Land and asked him what was the best stuff for poison ivy(I was trying to save myself the embarrassment of going to the doctor and getting a shot for it), he asks me if price was an issue......I loudly said, "Hell no it's on my ****!" He **** near fell over he was laughing so hard. He then escorted me over to the aisle and said "here this stuff will fix your problem." It was instant relief.

Gojo wipes, will help with the itching and clear it up.

Like the rest of y'all, can't stand the stuff. lol........ I usually just go get a steroid shot and be done with it. The last time I had it, I put my arms under scolding hot water, hot enough it was turning my skin red and drying it out. I don't know if this is a do or a don't, I just know it gave me some amazing relief from the itching and dried it out.
