Where's the best place to stay in Cotulla?

I'm going to do a few days of bird hunting at the Chaparral this coming weekend and I'm looking for some suggestions on where to stay. I guess it doesn't have to be Cotulla, but any help on somewhere close and comfy would be greatly appreciated.

We stay at the Cotulla Motel. $56/night for the double room. There's one triple room if you need it.

Cotulla Hotels

I think theres an executive suites off of 35 on the n bound side thats really decent comfy beds and flat screen hd tv on the wall,and reasonably priced.

Decent place but the people that run it seem like they are always angry. Have you had the same experience with them?

If you want a real adventure try the Motel LaSalle right up the road, $35/night, real nice lady that runs it but they are not much into cleaning.
