I'm not suggesting that this is what happened at all as I have no idea, but let me give you guys a scenario that happened in my family to chew on...
My sister mixed a very commonly prescribed medication with alcohol (you're not supposed to but she had issues) and the lights went off completely. She had no idea who she was and was arrested after being missing for 24 hours in a complete stranger's home cooking on the range in their kitchen.
People can go missing and have it be neither a case of kidnapping or them willingly hiding.
Again, not saying that's what happened here. Let's just be happy she's safe.

A bad reaction to medication is being blamed for the weekend disappearance of Texas A&M sports reporter Courtney Roland.
Houston police said Roland, who was the subject of a search that started after she was reported missing by her roommate Sunday evening, had a reaction to medication she was taking, which caused her to become confused and disoriented.
“She seems pretty confused about everything,” police said at a news conference Monday afternoon.

I’m surprised no one has brought up mental illness. Add that to medication and there are infinite possibilities.
Glad she is safe and her family can breathe.
Sierracharlie out…
