What would be best to add to corn in a spin feeder?

I'm on a small place, 153 acres, so I don't see feeding protein on it's own.
So what would be good to add to my corn that will do the deer "some" good and help bring'em in?

Golden nuggets will bring them in. It smells great! I think it has a farely good protein content.

You could try some attractants to bring them in, but in a spin feeder going off twice a day I dont think you can add anything to do them some good. Each individual deer would not get to eat enough of anything added to do the deer some good.

Actually corn doesn't have that much protein in it. At least not near as much as the "protein" being feed by others.

10/4 That's kinda why I'm asking the question. Not that I can do much good on such a small place. Just trying to figure a way to make'em "want" to stay on, or near, my place...

OzAg beat me, but we've had real good luck with the golden corn nuggets, you better put some varmit cages on if you don't already have them cause the coons love it too...

I believe gold nuggets are a brand of feed not corn

Mike,I've got salt blocks at all feeding stations year round.2 weeks ago I put out 33lb deer blocks and most are nearly half gone. They love them.I think they are 16% protien. At less than $8 apiece they are a cheap attractant.Plus if youu have a feeeder malfunction there is still something there to bring the deer in.

                    WCB,
Golden Nuggets are a corn replacement made by Record Rack. Hard to find sometimes, but the deer LOVE them!

I was also thinking about salt blocks or pouring a salt mix on the ground and leaching it in.

I was just doing some reading online and was also thinking about rice bran/corn mix. Will rice bran spin in a feeder?

I lik ethe salt block and deer cube blocks also. Another way is to not only concentrate on feed but cover for the deer to feel comfortable staying on your place the you will be the colsest restaurant and they will come

I usually add I 50# bag of corn to a 50 gallon drum fool of corn. Not anymore because it will gum up your feeder.

I was also thinking about those peanut lickers that you screw into a tree or post.
