Nah he wasn’t an actual invitee. He just heard thru the grapevine about the trip, booked a cabin and then backed out. Some other guys in the group decided to take his cabin cause they’re GOF’s and wanted their own place.

TBH Sam Rayburn Crappie weekend!

So ready to get back to fishing fun lakes! Lake Fork punched me in the mouth 2 weekends in a row! Kinda expected that though! Place we planned to fish Sat had 3' waves rolling through the trees! Off to Millwood in 2 weeks then it's Palestine and Rayburn time! Ready for these fish to quit making babies and get to post spawn!!!



I am excited about Millwood though. Never fished it and it's a big fish lake! Was told yesterday if weather cooperates it should take 15-16 pounds to win with 7 crappie. That's a sack of hammers right there...

Stole this pic off the computer but it was taken Sat at Fork! Got soaked about 930 and tore the trolling Motor up about 11. Did catch our last fish tied to a tree with no trolling motor! Whole day was horrible for us!! Bring on warm weather!

Jackson hill has plenty of room inside the store or under the tent out front that we could probably meet there friday evening and I could give y'all some crappie pointers. If somebody has a bbq pit on wheels they could bring we could cook burgers and what not Friday night. Tell crappie lies and get the party started. Sat night plan is a fish fry! I'd like to get a head count on how many kiddos are coming as well. See if we can round up some baits or something for them!![emoji106]
