    Prototype knife

Looking for some feedback on this knife. This is the first guthook knife I’ve made. What are y’all a thoughts?

Make sure the guthook is a size that a round crockstick will fit. For future sharpening. Angle the handle to help pulling the guthook downwards.

Looks great! Attractive, functional, and I dig the rough forge/scale finish you left on it. Very nice job sir.

im not a gut hook fan too hard to sharpen, but i love that radius it looks very useful be easy to finesse through the skinning process.handle looks thin for easy use aplication. i like it.

I am a gutbhook fan have used too many different ones to remember them all I think the end of the hook is too sharp (snags guts) also the cutting edge of the guthook should be larger to be able to easily sharpen it. The rest of the knife is very nice I really like the deep belly in the blade.

Great looking knife and craftsmanship, I personally am not a fan of guthooks. I like the belly and thickness of the blade, but I think the handle needs to be a bit thicker and straighter. I think it will be a heck of a skinning knife and chopper.
