Thanks for posting. I wonder if a Carbon Monoxide detector would have prevented this?

I use a Little Buddy heater for 5 minutes in our big Alaskan Guide tent when the alarm goes off in the morning, even when it was 7 degrees in Colorado I didn't run it in a tent overnight and that should have plenty of ventilation. Can't tell you how many times people camping with me want me to run it all night and I just can't bring myself to do it. If I'm awake fine, but not going to sleep with anything like that running.
That is the primary reason I had mine custom ordered with windows. We make sure both of them are cracked when lighting our little catalytic heater.
Prayers up for this family. Super sad.

Man, that's horrible. Thanks for posting. I had seen it yet. It's a terrible reminder to many of us. This is why I use an electric space heater in my trailer. I have a Mr. Heater for my box blind, but I always ventilate by having windows open. I also only run it for long enough to knock the chill out of the blind. If it starts to get cold in there, I'll light it up again for a few minutes, but always with the blind well ventilated.

Cant imagine what the family is going through.
Happened in mason county last year also.
A girl that works in the office with my wife was friends with young couple in another state was found dead after having some kind of heating unit installed.
a carbon monoxide dectector is a must.

I'd like to think that it would have made a difference.....We all think that we know better, but with our minds on other things you can forget also.

Yes. $14.84 and they'd still be alive today.
