    New Bow Recommendations

I have been shooting a Mathews Z7 since 2011. It has been a great shooting bow. I have had a hard time hanging it up, but I think its time. If I am going to make the switch, I want the best. What is everyone's thoughts or recommendations for the best bow on the market today?

I just shot the new Mathews, bowtech, Hoyt and elite and IMO, the Elite was the best of the bunch. Best thing to do is to go to the shop and shoot them all and see which one you like.

Go to bow shop and try as many as you can. The best bow is a personal preference and may not be this best for you.

Go to CCR, spend 4 - 6 hours shooting EVERY top of the line bow they carry, then decide for yourself what you want to spend your hard earned money on. Don't be addicted to a brand that someone else recommends or one you have shot in he past, unless they are willing to buy you a bow. Good luck and have fun shooting them all. When you are done, then YOU will know which is the best bow for you.

              Try traditional.

Tried this. Didn’t have the time to do it right.

similar thread same answer. Give the new Hoyt RX1 a try. Best bow I've shot in a long time and this is coming from a die hard Mathews guy for the last 20 years.

I shoot the Hoyt RX1 now.

I just ordered a Halon 32. It’s not the newest Mathews but still one of the best I shot. The triax was a great shooter but the string angle was extreme for my draw of 31”. I shot the Hoyts, elites, obsession, and bowtech. Chose Mathews because of how good it felt and the re-sale capability of it.

                          This. Can't stress it enough.

The last two times I bought, once I went in intending to buy a Hoyt and ended up with a Bowtech. Next time I went in for a Mathews and walked out with a Hoyt. It's all about what feels right.

the 2018 Air Bow is awesome, Completely silent, accurate, shoot through windsheilds and never break the glass, never miss your quarry. The best thing is they are free

Went with the Triax. I hope its as reliable as the Z7 has been.
