                Best workout I have had in a while since I didn't skip abs like the last 3 weeks.....

                        I had my hip surgery and met with the ortho today. He said the bone spurs had grown nearly completely around the ball on my femur. Said it was locked up and they had to chisel all that off before they could dislocate my hip. Said he had a heck of a time but the X-rays look good.

                        I know one thing, I’ve got one heck of an incision on my arse! Pain has been manageable with oxycodone, Tylenol and morphine. I was morphine drunk most of today.

                        I’ve been able to do the PT fairly well. I’m supposed to walk 200 feet before they let me go. I accomplished that this morning but a bout of vertigo at the afternoon session got me another nights stay. It’s ok cuz these nurses are easy on the eyes!

                        Keep on lifting! Hopefully I’ll be able to get in and at least do some upper body pretty soon!

                            Off day today. Catfish, shrimp, and bourbon. My elbow pain seems to be better. Hoping it keeps that way. Plantar fasciitis in right foot is a daily muthaforker.
