    Freezer Beef

I have 2 angus steers that we are feeding out. We are keeping one & selling the other one. They have never been given antibiotics nor have they had any growth hormones. They average 1020 lbs a month ago. They have been on feed & hay about 2 months now. They are getting a heavy ration of steam flaked corn, feed & hay. Looking to get up to about 1250 lbs. Asking $1800 for him. You pay for all processing.

Where is it located and are you doing the processing or would I need to haul the steer (dead I'm guessing) to a processing plant of my choice?

        God bless and happy hunting.
        Richard.

Sorry should have put that in my post. They are located north of Decatur,Tx. I will not be doing the processing. He will be alive. You will need to transport to a processor.

They will dress out around 62.5% hanging weight. Depending on how you have it cut up will determine your yield.

That's a cheap deer lease price for a lot of meat, I will try to find some help with freezer space. Would I be able to butcher on site and dump the bones?
