My dad has shoulder problems and when my brother and I bought him a new bow, we went with a mission x3 with 50-60 lb limbs. Mission is mathews lower line, but this bow shoots like a dream. He started at 51lbs and is now pulling 60. He is getting 260fps with a 375 grain arrow. Not bad for 60lbs. The bow was only $329 and carries the same lifetime warranty as a mathews. I had an extra whisker biscuit and bought a $50 truglo sight. Add a release and some arrows and not too bad a price to get shooting.

Diamond Black Ice

Because of your shoulder problem, you'll probably want to stay with a single cam bow. Something with a smooth draw and a nice easy break over would be the ticket. Any Mathews bow or Diamond Black Ice/Marquis would be a few good choices to try.

I shoot a Mathews Drenalin with 60 lb limbs and a 28.5" draw .........couldn't be happier and my shoulder hasn't been an issue at all.

I shot some bows Mathews and Pse are not good for me.
I went over to Cabelas and shot a Black Ice and so far this is my choice.
