    pop-up during late season

Besides the obvious ( brush it in, play the wind, etc...) any pointers from the TBH crew? BTW, hunting west Texas and I'll try my best at brushing in.

Another BTW, if I were to bring my own brush( to brush it in) what would be the best?

the best brush would be fake christmas tree limbs..........Of course that depends on how far west you are.

I would set up about 40-60 yards off a major feeding area and hand corn the area. We have a lot of success doing this with pop ups in West Texas.......You might also try setting up on an out of the way stock watering tank and sit all day. It is extremely dry out west and the deer will be near water for sure.....

I agree with setting up not on top of a feeding station. Those deer come to that feeder everyday and will notice a new pop up unless it is very, very well hidden. If you can get away from it or maybe on a good trail you would have more luck.

I hutned a brushed pop up this morning and evening and didnt have much problem with deer noticing me. I was only about 20 give or take a few yards away hunting over corn not too close to a feeder. Jus t be quiet and still

I'm pretty sure our tanks are still dry. We do have a huge wheat field. I think its the only green space for miles. We do have a creek running through our property though.

I do have a lot of garland I could steal from the attic.
