Dead doe?

I just shot this doe at the lease. This is the moment of impact. That’s a lung hit and dead doe correct? She hauled *** for about 100 yds and disappeared in the brush.

Little high, but would think she is out there dead.

Yea I hit about 3” higher than I was aiming which has me a little concerned.

What kind of blood do you have?

Looks a little quartering to, so may have only gotten one lung.

She’s a little quartered to ya. May have clipped lung? Height seems ok to me

I haven’t gotten out yet. I can see my arrow soaked with bright red blood on the ground.

I think you are good. Give her a little extra time and then go find her. Pass thru? Can you see any blood from where you are sitting?

I think you probably caught a lung. But with it being a quartering to shot you probably got some guts. Will probably not have good blood on the exit. You might have hit liver. I would wait a bit before looking.

I’d be surprised if she was more then 200 yards if you give her a little time.

Take rifle or shotgun with you and walk trail. If you jump her you can make her leak out of another hole - just in case- I'm thinking got at least one lung

Dead doe?

Thanks guys. Complete pass through shooting 125gr ramcats. She wasn’t as quartering as the pic shows. You couldn’t see space between her two front legs before I released. When she began to duck she brought her opposite leg way forward. I’ll give her at least an hour then get on the trail. I’ll let you know.
