Build me a BUDGET PIG KILLER

Ok guys. Bless me with your creativity!! I have $3k. Hypothetically build me the best pig killing rifle rig from scratch. Ok to go under or over the $3k Mark, but shoot for that. Night vision, thermal, thermite......sky is the limit! How would you build it?

308 AR. And a decent thermal. Any good thermal is going to be $3k starting

The optic linked bellow. And use the balance to build an AR-15 chambered in either 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC and you would have **** near the perfect pig killing gun. Save up for another year or splurge a bit since you were willing to give some, and get a suppressor for it. You really would have the perfect pig killing weapon.

I would rather spend a couple grand and have an amazing optic and have a cheap gun than have a super nice gun and a cheap optic. For pigs no need to have a 1500 dollar combat ready AR that shoots .5 moa, all it needs to do is go bang and shoot around 1 moa.

I have a good thermal and am considering building a 6.5 Grendel. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I'd buy the cheapest 308 AR and the most expensive thermal to keep you within your budget.

FN SCAR 17...shorten the bbl & pin the suppressor's flash hider to 16" & add a good trigger. The 308 is a better round for a dedicated pig semi & the SCAR is superior over any AR-10 IMO.

I'll leave the thermal up to others as Im not up to date. "If' I ever do it it will be the upper end that records, but they are crazy expensive from what I understand for the really really good ones.

My suggested gun & can with work is gonna be over the $3k obviously...I have a similar gun but no NV & need some moonlight.

You can get the model right above mine for about $2250 and put on any $500 +/- ar and have a truely bad @$$ rig

I'd spend $300 on a good used .22 mag. $50 on a Q-beam with a red lens. About $2,500 on women and whiskey. The rest I would just waste.
