Home security questions...

I am considering a home security system...looking for first hand experience with any of the below systems.
Vivint
SimpliSafe
Ring
Nest

I am new to this arena, but primary concerns are door/window sensors and alarms, perimeter video monitoring to a degree, and dependability...

I suppose I am likely looking for the self monitored approach...but am open to ideas. Thanks!

fortress has been good to me

I have seen the Ring fool burglaries and lead to apprehensions but it really helps to have the video storage so the recordings are saved. I think it is around $5-8 a month

I have a Alibi video system with 6 cams, ADT home alarm system.
Pretty happy with all.

I have SimpliSafe and love it. The only drawback is I don't think they have outdoor cameras yet.

I have vivint for about 2 years and have been happy with it. I did have one small issue and they resolved it quickly, the only draw back is the long contract but the equipment was free for most of it and I did add 2 more camera's.
