p.s. I betting that the company will wind up doing what they need to do to compensate for any damages.that's a good one lol, hahahahah
I think higher of a liberal politician than any oil company in my area. We found near $100k in direct damage and outright negligence.... they offered $5k. Judge previously worked in their law firm... said $5 was fair... we never saw that. 2 500' water wells destroyed, fences, gates, land, land, land, pastures, ponds all destroyed..... zero..... all for 2 dry holes that we told them would be dry holes to begin with. Lol
Good luck op..... I wish you the best, but will advise be prepared for ZERO reguardless how far you take it

Tanos has never called me back. Tanos hasn't done a dam thing!!!
Sooooooooooooooooooooo, I'm looking into other "avenues" to pursue!!!
Guess you can say that me and 3 other neighbors are severely ****** off right now.
Don't know why the guy just blew me off. Only other time I ever called him was to ask for some stop signs where the truckers come off the well pad to our road. Neighbor's kids nearly got ran over one morning while headed to the bus stop on their 4 wheeler. And he had 2 stops signs up the next day.

We have an oilfield easement road thru our property to a location on the neighbors property. ZERO benefit or $$$ to us. 100 ft is between our horse barn and our house. Easement runs down the middle of that 100 ft. Horses and dogs have been hit/killed by speeding traffic. I finally went slapdab crazy about 5 years ago. Started parking gooseneck trailers crossways on the road, meeting EVERY vehicle with my AR slung over my shoulder, and taking photos of driver faces and vehicle license plates. Painted a sheet of plywood with “ SLOW DOWN OR I WILL SHOOT OUT YOUR **** TIRES!!!” and staked it beside the cattle guard. After about 2 weeks they all decided I was out of my mind and started slowing down. Now we have a wonderful relationship and they drive REALLY CAREFUL on my property. You just have to establish limits.............AND make them wonder “Is he really going to shoot me?” Seriously. Now all you “experts” that have never walked in my shoes flame away. I really don’t care. Lol

If you are getting the run around, you need to escalate the urgency and contact the CEO, Mark A. Brandon in Tyler, main phone is 903-597-7667. He lives at 133 Lou Della Lake Dr. in Bullard if you want to call on him Sunday afternoon! His wife is Mary Ann
Perhaps she can help you out:

In all honesty shooting them is something that has crossed about every landowner that I know of that has to deal with them. I could fill dump trucks with empty beer cans left by switchers. And won't get started on lying with every breath land men I've delt with. Generally no respect for owner. All minerals in my area were sold during depression so no surface owner around here has a say. And now that they are all whored out and broke down they are sold off to the "fly by night" operators.... or your typical east Texas poacher
What is the name of the oil company?

Well since you threw it out there. I was going to PM the OP some contact info. I have known Mark for 20 years. He is a very good man and business man and I have no doubts he will make it right.
OP, if you can't get in touch with the right person, shoot me a PM. It's not my business but I don't like to see someone I know get smashed on the WWW when he may not even be aware of the situation.

I promise you, the field hand will be much more accommodating when he gets a call from the man!
