    Did the hearing test at Cabelas.....

    And totally failed it! Any of Y'all have experience with the hearing aids they sell there. Walker brand, I have used their ear muffs and game ears in the past but the guy was talking about every day use hearing aids. Feedback appreciated

          Other than thousands of dollars, they prolly ain't that different. Several years ago, I hooked up a set of walkers to my stepdads ear pieces. He'd ruined his regular hearing aids so thought we'd give it a try. He said it wasn't really a big difference.

                        Most regular type, excluding the super cheapy $15 ones, pretty much have the same guts as any at any hearing center. Walkers makes some quality products. I have a pair by Sport Ear ITE. They are ITE, and custom set for my hearing loss with 3x amp settings and one background mute setting. Also have total volume setting. Much cheaper than going to a hearing center and paying $4K-7K. Walkers are about half as much if you get the ITE type with the same quality.
