100% Correct. Been thinking about picking up one of these to give it a try.

I consider that one but wanted to have the chamfer/deburer electric as well. I went with the Frankfort case prep center. Works great but is still slow.

Love me an AI chamber for that reason alone. Very little brass drift.

I've taken the tediousness to a new level with the addition of annealing the brass as well.

The lee cutter with the ball handle attachment and a cordless drill makes pretty fast work of it. One of the cheaper options as well. Like $25ish if you already have a drill or cordless screwdriver.

I use a Hornady case trimmer. Take the handle off, hook my hand drill to it and away we go. I can do 50 cases pretty quickly. I do have to hand chamfer though.

That’s the exact reason I will only be building ai rifles in the future.

Rarely do I ever trim brass. Probably should but don’t generally do it. Haven’t had a problem from 458 Lott all the way down to 223 and 9mm. Have not reloaded for gnats *** accuracy in a while so it hasn’t been crucial. All I have time to do is load up some “good enough inside 200yds” rds lately

Yep, only down side is having to fire form.

Then no more case trimming and you get to shoot more.
                      So.. Win win

I have a WFT in .223. Put it in a drill press, and large amounts done in no time. Takes a bit to set it up. but you only do it once. Always check it when you star a new batch.

Worlds finest trimmer by little crow gunwerks is a good inexpensive option.

                            Dillion power trimmer

Or go giraud trim chamfer and debur in one step.

I believe brass neck prep/sizing is one of the most critical steps for accuracy and worth the effort.

If your chasing minute of vitals 220 yards or less then brass prep sux. I agree
