question for Muzzy shooters

Not trying to sound like a you know what, buy why are you trying to "remove" weight?

Having some shoulder problems and have had to go way down on draw weight.

My son shot 2 does with them when he was young. He had no problems.

I don't think 25g will help you that much....stay with 100g 4-blades G4's....SPEED does not kill animals big broad heads do!!

I'd stay with the 100g also. I like a little more weight with lighter draw weight. Just compensate like we did in the ole days.

I agree, cgwig.** You may just have to shorten your effective range.

Don't forget about "front of center" weight. Would the 75 grain head affect it?

wow nobody suggested lighter shafts either. maybe shedding some GPI would help get the weight down, and pick up some speed.

25g might make 2" differance in POI @ 40yd.

If you just have to shave weight shop for lighter shafts etc first.

With that said my wife used one out of her 41# bow and the arrow stuck in the ground on the far side....big 22yd track.

if i was you i would go with th 75 gr muzzy if you are looking to gain speed.
and i would go with a lighter arrow shaft like carbon express maxima 250's.
my set up is similar to that one except i am using rage to blades and muzzy mx-3's. i am only pulling 64 lbs out of my hoyt but am getting almost 290 fps. i dont really worry about penetration much these days bows are so fast and efficient that most bows will send an arrow through almost any game animal in texas.
