Cabo or somewhere in the Caribbean?

We go somewhere I the Caribbean every summer. The place that had the nicest beaches and overall nicest resort was the Dominican Republic. It was also the cheapest. I think this year we are headed to belize or Honduras.

When you are researching places in the Caribbean, check to make sure the areas weren't badly damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. A lot of islands received significant damage.

Cabo beaches suck.... coarse sand, and strong cool current.

I agree, and the water is really too cold to get in anyway.
We did 8 dives, over 2 days; water temperature was 66 degrees ... and the visibility was nothing to write home about.
