That's the great North American Deerger. Half deer half tiger.

I see it early in the year when acorns are abundant. They are very fat and it ripples when it gets thicker.

Here is one of my favorite with stripes

Could you feel any difference in the hair where the stripes are? Other pictures of the doe I posted look like the hair is thicker and thinner and that makes the stripe look. Not sure though.

Awesome buck! How much you reckon that deer weighs?

I see it quite often here on bucks and does on trail cams and in person while hunting. I have not had many acorns at all in the past 4 yrs now. Here is post rut buck from last night.

When you skin them, you will also see a tiger strip pattern on the inside of the hide.
                          Kind of neat.

I have a doe on camera like that. I just thought it was wavy hair.

Saw a buck yesterday with a little of the same hair do.
I thought it was unusual And later I recognized his hide immediately.
Never noticed it on other deer.

                                Thanks fior sharing.

I get my biggest boars back to camp by dragging them behind my truck. Sand and grass make it easy. Head first, not against the hair. I tie a noose around their snout.
