    HCB/ Bowwiz Shoot Recap

Just wanted to start a new thread to cover the HCB Benefit shoot for Bowwiz. Feel free to post all your pictures and memories from today's event here.

Well, what a day!!!!!! Was out at the range by 0800 hours, and Steve Pack and the Pack crew were already on the practice range putting arrows down range. The cold breeze and tons of shade made for a pretty cold and tough start.

Things were crazy at first with all of the great donations coming from all over. A huge thanks goes out to all who donated raffle items, the nice thoughts, the kind words, the shoot participation, the concessions, the booths, etc. everyone who had the slightest part in participation one way or another made this event a huge success.

I will post my pictures here shortly but I wanted to get this thread started for all to begin using.

It was a lotta fun. I did lose a couple arras. Course I don't shoot near as far as some of the targets were set at

Lot of good folks there and my son(Wildchild) & I had a good time.

It was a good turn out of folks.

Even though I didn't shoot today I still had a great time. Look forward to getting my bow back in shape and making some shoots. Thought it was pretty funny that out of all those folks I ended up walking around with all you Ellis County boys. Just watching Sean shooting all those trees was worth the drive for me!

I had an excellent time at this shoot today. HCB put together a difficult course. Everyone seemed to have a good time. It was good meeting Dreamer1 and Brotherbill. I look forward to shooting with ya'll again soon.

Okay, so for those of y'all who couldn't make it, it would have been nice but we do understand that other commitments and distances couldn't have been avoided.

So hopefully this plus everyone else's input and pictures will explain the whole event.

First of all this would not have been possible if this man had not stepped up to the plate, and put this whole Benefit shoot together..........

Mr. Steve Pack and family, thanks again Steve, looking forward to sharing a campfire with you and the boys.

and now for the man of the hour, who was literally brought to tears b/c of all the great members of the HCB & TBH who have the greatest of hearts to support his cause........

                    Mr. David "Bowwiz" Lynch

who would also, step up to the plate and help a fellow archer if they were ever in need of a little help

David would be quick to grab his bow and shoot some arrows if ya needed him too

Such a great cause and so many great people on TBH that people came from far distances and great lengths to be here today. Numerous visitors brought donation items to help raise an extremely high amount of money today, There were allot of items donated these are just a few........

Some awesome home made arrows from our friend in Gonzalez TX, who made the journey this morning and also donated some great Trad arrow making items

or how about a bad*** HCR feeder that you fill from the ground, this item brought in a great amoung of funds for the cause, Clint if you need me to hold onto it for a while just let me know, I'm sure you don't really have any room for it. If you want i'll even come and pick it up........

But the kiddos did love to shoot the NASP kit Genesis bows that Don Ferguson brought out. Thanks Don, you're always a great help and frontrunner when it comes to getting the kids involved with archery. Thanks.

I know there's allot more people out there that donated, Thank you very much, all of you know who you are. This wouldn't have been such a success if it wasn't for all the great donations of money, gifts, and prizes. Not to mention all of the great shooters and bystanders that came out just for the cause or to the numerous people that were making calls and making things happen for the benefit. Thanks allot.

Oh yeah, and I can't forget that even our gangster shooters joined in the fun. Is it possible to shoot a bow from a moving car????????

I don't know but I'll try some other night when it's not so cold.
